Washing Sole Sox
Babies love getting messy! That's why our Sole Sox are made with soft but durable materials to ensure they can be washed again and again! They are designed to be washed as regularly as you would wash your socks.
They are machine washable (30°C In a Laundry Bag) but look great even after a quick baby wipe or when rinsed out by hand.
Remove insoles before washing and rinse by hand to prolong their life.

Size Guide
Please note that the size guide & foot length does NOT represent the actual size of the shoe, it is a guide to help you select the right size.
Example: If your little one is measuring right on 11.5cm, a Small would still be the perfect size for them and there will still be plenty of room for their toes to wiggle and grow, as the actual shoe will be longer than 11.5cm.
If you don't have a printer, place a piece of paper against a wall and have your child put their heel against a wall.
Measure from the back of their heel to the tip of their toes. The best size for them would be the next closest size to their foot measurement. For example, if their foot measures 11cm, we would recommend purchasing a size small.
At this age, the right size shoe is just as important as the right type of shoe. Shoes that are too big will slip off and cause your little one trip, stumble and fall. We strongly recommend purchasing the correct size for your little one, and not a larger size.
Use the size chart above to find the right size.
It’s always tricky when they measure in between sizes, that’s why we have a really flexible exchange policy. Sometimes, adding a pair of grip socks underneath the shoes can help while they are in between sizes.

At Sole Sox Australia we understand and have lived the struggles of finding the perfect shoes for toddlers. When babies are learning to crawl, learning to take their first steps and learning to run, climb and jump, whats on their feet matters.
Decades of research has shown that barefoot is best, but it’s not always practical. That’s where Sole Sox come in. All our pre-walker shoes are designed to protect their delicate Soles, be as comfortable as Socks, all while giving babies feet the room to move, wiggle and grow.
Sole Sox are soft, sustainable, anti-bacterial and breathable. The bubble toe, flexible anti-slip sole and light weight design simulate barefoot walking. They are designed to be worn with or without sock and are easy to clean. But most importantly, all our products are made from tested non-toxic food grade materials... just in case your baby wants a bite!

Sole Sox are essentially a cotton sock with a light weight, soft & flexible, rubber sole. They are designed to mimic barefoot walking.
For decades we have been told that barefoot is best, but it’s not always practical. Thats where Sole Sox come in. Our rubber sole doesn’t have any holes in it so it provides protection from harsh, hot, cold and damp surfaces.

Are Sole Sox protective enough to be worn outdoors on hot & ruff surfaces?
Our Sole Sox Rubber Shoe Socks are made from a flexible light weight rubber called TPE. This offers protection from hot and harsh surfaces such as gravel and concrete, all while mimicing barefoot walking. They are especially great for outdoors as there are no holes in the sole so moisture & odor-causing bacteria does not seep in.
And if you’re out camping or can’t access a washing machine, and they get dirty or muddy, just give them a quick rinse and leave them out to dry.
Are Sole Sox breathable? My daughter has sweaty feet even when it's cold.
Our Sole Sox are made with a very breathable and comfortable materials.
Often customers worry that because there are no holes our soles this may cause their feet to sweat.
While your little ones feet may become sweaty in their Sole Sox, our research found that adding holes into the sole actually caused an increase in 'smelly feet' as the holes allowed odour causing bacteria & moisture to seep in.If you find your little ones feet are getting sweaty, you can always add a pair of socks underneath to help with absorption, or wash them more frequently.
We also have our Breathable Mesh styles that are great for Summer and extra sweaty feet.
Can I wash my Sole Sox?

When picking a size, is the age range accurate?
The age range is purely a guide. For most babies its perfect, but for some its too big or too small. It’s best to use our printable size guide or your childs foot measurement.
We include the age range mainly for people looking to purchase these shoes as a gift. Children of the same age can vary greatly in their foot measurements so whenever possible we suggest using this size guide to measure their foot.
We have a very flexible returns/exchange policy, if they happen to be too small/big. Just reach out to one of our friendly staff via the contact us page.
Should I purchase a larger size so my little one can grow into them?
At this age, the right size shoe is just as important as the right type of shoe. Shoes that are too big will slip off and cause your little one trip, stumble and fall. We strongly recommend purchasing the correct size for your little one, and not a larger size.
And if its not the right size, we have a really flexible Returns & Exchange policy.
We have worked hard to provide a great quality product at an affordable price because we are passionate about insuring little ones have the right size & type of footwear.
At this age, the right size is just as important as the right shoe. We would still recommend purchasing a Small (11.5cm).

Do i need to purchase insoles with Sole Sox?
We recommend wearing Sole Sox with insoles, thats why we include them at no extra charge.
Sole Sox are fully lined with a cotton sock, and our insole provides a thin layer of support, whilst still allowing their adorable feet to pick up essential sensory information from the ground.
Sole Sox can be worn with or without the insole. It’s personal preference. Lots of customers like to wear socks underneath instead of insoles as well. Kids are often in and out of mud and puddles so thats why they're designed to be worn with or without insoles and socks. The inside of the shoes are cotton lined to totally ok either way if your little one prefers to wear them without the insoles.
Because we avoid using any harmful chemicals and toxins, we are limited with the types of glues we can use on our insoles. This is why we recommend removing insoles before washing your Sole Sox and rinsing them by hand to prolong their life.

My daughter‘s foot turns in a slight bit so we have tried many shoes now that she is walking for outside and they always fall off on this 1 foot and it is really difficult for us to get her shoes on so we tried the sole Sox and they have been absolutely wonderful. Great little shoes! Despite being woven theyre pretty good at keeping out sand. They feel really quality and they must be comfy, because my son rejects 'normal' shoes but loves these!
The fit really well but also easy to get on and off. My son walks confidentially in them

Amazing shoes! Easy to put on and they stay on. He doesn’t trip in them the Dan way he trips in normal shoes that are bulky. They are also very cute

I have loved these versions of sole Sox for my older one and now again after 5 years I'm loving them for my younger one. Love them. The comfort and ease. One of the best in the market. Love that they are comfortable and washable.

Love these! However also have a couple of pairs of another style which are the same size but they constantly fall off his feet. These ones are much more secure.

I didn’t not like the fact the shoes doesn’t not come with the sole the you need to add it, all of the shoes always comes with it, I’m not really happy with that part :/

I’m a first time buyer from your website, yet I’m so disappointed and will not recommend to anyone I know to get anything from your website. I was having a high hope for the product that I ordered turn out it has a really bad stain on it, it’s look like I pick up the shoes that someone left on the street when actually I spent $$ to get it. I’m wondering what happened to the product manager or did someone check on the product before ship out the item or you just selling failed stuff like this to everyone.
